The Madison has been renewed for Season 3. Paramount+ announced the news following a record-breaking debut for the original drama created by Taylor Sheridan, and starring Oscar® nominee Michelle Pfeiffer and Golden Globe® Award nominee Kurt Russell. Called Sheridan’s most intimate work to date, The Madison struck a chord with audiences and set records for the creator and for Paramount+.
The Madison set new Paramount+ viewership records, topped streaming rankings, and resonated with audiences. Critics liked what they saw, too. A sampling:

The second season of The Madison has already completed filming, and now we know for sure that even more Clyburn family drama is on the way. About the only thing we don’t know: the release dates. None have been announced yet for Season 2 and Season 3.

Why The Madison was renewed for Season 3
Released exclusively on Paramount+, The Madison experienced a record-breaking premiere. The first episode, “Pilot,” gained 8 million global views in its first 10 days on the service. Beyond that, The Madison was the No. 1 show, by views, among streaming originals in its first week of release, according to Luminate, and cracked the top five on Nielsen’s Streaming Top 10 original series, with nearly 1 billion minutes viewed, during its first full week. And for series creator Taylor Sheridan, who has a long track record of hits, The Madison quickly established itself as his most-watched original series debut to date.
What we know about Season 2 release
It’s early, so there aren’t a lot of details yet on The Madison Season 2. We can tell you Season 2 completed filming, and that its new episodes will stream on Paramount+. As we said, there’s no word yet on the release date.

The Madison is one of several series created or co-created by Taylor Sheridan for Paramount+. All episodes of Landman, Lioness, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and the Yellowstone prequels 1883 and 1923, are also now streaming on the service. The CBS hit Marshals, a Yellowstone sequel, executive produced by Sheridan, also streams on Paramount+. Another Yellowstone series, Dutton Ranch, comes to Paramount+ on May 15, 2026.
