Host and author Amanda Kloots discusses her first children's book "Tell Me Your Dreams" officially being released Tuesday, April 11. Kloots shares the inspiration behind her book. "I was instantly inspired by Elvis. Even holding him as a baby, you're just inspired." She adds, This was inspired by me asking [Elvis], "Do you want me to tell you your dreams?... I just started making up this fantastical dream and I incorporated Nick [Cordero, her late husband and Elvis' father] into the dream and said that Nick was going to pick him up and take him into the clouds and drive through the neighborhood...I just started to make it up, so then it became our nightly routine." Kloots shares her hope for children to take away from the book. "When they fall asleep, they can dream about anything" and for adults, she hopes, "This book isn't a grief book, but what's beautiful about this is, especially during the pandemic, we've all experienced a lot of loss. It's really hard for adults to talk to kids about death. It's really a tough subject. this is a great way for parents to incorporate those that they lost, to help their children.
