Veteran Producers Board TKO: Total Knock Out As Showrunners

The new one-hour obstacle course competition show premieres this summer on CBS.

Holly Wofford (Survivor, American Ninja Warrior) and Jane Y. Mun (Lip Sync Battle Live, People's Choice Awards) have been named as Executive Producers and showrunners for TKO: TOTAL KNOCK OUT, a new one-hour obstacle course competition series from Executive Producer Mark Burnett (Survivor). 

The 10-episode series will premiere in summer 2018 on CBS. As previously announced, Kevin Hart will serve as the host and an Executive Producer.

"Holly and Jane are incredible producers and have separately worked with me for many years," said Burnett. "I am thrilled to put them together to lead our TKO team. They are both top-level network showrunners and I look forward to working alongside these amazing women again."

Emmy Award-nominated producer Holly Wofford has worked on numerous successful television franchises. She started her career at America's Most Wanted and went on to work with Burnett on Survivor before developing the format for American Ninja Warrior and ANW: USA vs. Japan. In addition, she executive produced and was the showrunner on network series American Ninja Warrior, Strong, The Island, and Super Nanny, among others.

Jane Y. Mun's credits include some of the biggest awards shows, music specials and groundbreaking events on television. For over a decade, she produced both the People's Choice Awards and the MTV Movie Awards, with Burnett, as well as the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards. Her additional credits include Lip Sync Battle Live, America's Best Dance Crew: All Stars and The Sing-Off.
    
TKO: TOTAL KNOCK OUT features people from all walks of life where one player races through daunting obstacles while four other contestants are manning battle stations along the course, firing over-the-top projectiles in an attempt to knock them off and slow them down. It's a physical and funny "us versus them" scenario, with the top two players advancing to the final showdown to face off for a cash prize.
