Engage! The cast of Star Trek: Picard unveiled a new teaser trailer for Season 3 at New York Comic Con and it's full of huge reveals.

Debuting as part of the Star Trek Universe panel at New York Comic Con, the teaser was introduced by series star Patrick Stewart who was joined on stage by fellow cast members LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner, as well as Executive Producers Alex Kurztman, Terry Matalas, and Rod Roddenberry. Josh Horowitz (The Summit With Josh Horowitz) served as the panel moderator.

The final season premieres on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., with new episodes of the 10-episode-long season available to stream weekly on Thursdays.

Appearing in the teaser is Tony Award winner Amanda Plummer (Pulp Fiction) who joins the cast in a recurring role as Vadic, the mysterious alien captain of the Shrike, a warship that has set its sights on Jean-Luc Picard and his old crew mates from his days on the Enterprise. Also announced was the casting for Geordi La Forge's daughters, played by Mica Burton (Critical Role) and Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut (Cruel Summer) in recurring roles. Sharpe Chestnut will play Ensign Sidney La Forge, Geordi's eldest daughter and helmsman of the U.S.S. Titan. Burton will portray Ensign Alandra La Forge, Geordi's youngest daughter who works alongside her father.



In another big reveal, the teaser ended with a first look at Brent Spiner's character this season, the familiar villain Lore from Star Trek: The Next Generation, and he's not alone. Daniel David will reprise his role as Professor Moriarty.

Star Trek: Picard sees Patrick Stewart reprise his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on Star Trek: The Next Generation, and follows this iconic character into the next chapter of his life. LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan, and Michelle Hurd star alongside Patrick Stewart in the third and final season of the hit Paramount+ Original series.

Star Trek: Picard streams exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and is distributed concurrently by Paramount Global Content Distribution on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories, and in Canada it airs on Bell Media’s CTV Sci-Fi Channel and streams on Crave.
