TERRY DONOVAN
Played by Eddie Marsan
Ray's brother Terry is a former boxer who has developed Parkinson's disease from too many blows to the head. His condition has left him despondent and shy, and therefore extremely awkward around women. He owns a boxing gym in LA where Ray's father and brothers hang out. As much as Terry tries not to, he can't seem to avoid accepting help from Ray.
EDDIE MARSAN
British-born Eddie Marsan has established a diverse acting career over the last 20 years with a wide breadth of roles across film, television, and theatre. He has won two British Independent Film Awards for Best Supporting Actor for the films VERA DRAKE and HAPPY-GO-LUCKY, for which he also won the National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actor. Most recently, he was nominated for an Evening Standard British Film Award for Best Actor for THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ALICE CREED.
Some of his most notable film credits include TYRANNOSAUR, SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN, JACK THE GIANT SLAYER, WAR HORSE, SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS, HANCOCK, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE III, V FOR VENDETTA, MIAMI VICE, THE ILLUSIONIST, 21 GRAMS, and GANGS OF NEW YORK, among others, and most recently could be seen in THE WORLD'S END and STILL LIFE.
On television, Marsan has appeared in more than twenty British series such as SOUTHCLIFFE, THORNE: SCAREDYCAT, CRIMINAL JUSTICE, THE 39 STEPS, and LITTLE DORRIT, among others. Marsan’s U.K. stage credits include ANTARCTICA, A PLACE AT THE TABLE, the European tour of RICHARD III, CHIPS WITH EVERYTHING, THE HOMECOMING, SERVING IT UP, CINDERELLA, TAKING LIBERTIES, and OUT IN THE COLD.
