Paramount+ is heading to rural Maine to revisit one of Stephen King's most beloved—and terrifying—works: Pet Sematary.
Henry Thomas (The Haunting of Hill House) and Samantha Mathis (Billions) have joined Paramount Players' follow-up adaptation of the successful 2019 Pet Sematary film, based on Stephen King's best seller and self-proclaimed scariest book of the same name.
Thomas and Mathis join previously announced cast members Jackson White, Forrest Goodluck, Jack Mulhern, Natalie Alyn Lind, Isabella Star LeBlanc, and Pam Grier.
Principal photography began earlier this week and the film will debut exclusively on Paramount+ in the future.
Pet Sematary is directed by Lindsey Beer, who also wrote the script based off a draft by Jeff Buhler. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are producing.
Stay tuned to Paramount+ for more information on the upcoming Pet Sematary.
