The 2025 NFL Playoffs are here – and we are there. The Chargers and Texans are set to play Saturday in a Wild Card showdown. The NFL on CBS postseason game will air live on CBS, and stream live on Paramount+.
The visiting Chargers are the No. 5 seed in the AFC; the hosting Texans are the No. 4 seed. The team that wins on Saturday advances to the Divisional round. The losing team goes home.
Under first-year head coach Jim Harbaugh, the Chargers lit up the regular season. Quarterback Justin Herbert and company finished second in the AFC West with an 11-6 record – a big turnaround from 2023's fourth-place, 5-12 campaign.
As for the Texans, they posted their second straight 10-win season, and scored their second straight AFC South division title. QB C.J. Stroud is 1-1 in his young career in the NFL Playoffs. Last year, Stroud led the Lone Star State squad to a Wild Card win over the Browns before falling to the Ravens in the Divisional round.
