Here's an entry for your to-do list this coming weekend: Watch No. 18 Notre Dame take on unranked Purdue on Saturday at the Boilermakers' Ross-Ade Stadium, in West Lafayette, Indiana. This is a huge game for Notre Dame – and no small matter for Purdue.

Notre Dame is looking to rebound from a stunning home defeat on a field goal in the final seconds of its game against Northern Illinois, 16-14. The upset loss to a MAC opponent dropped head coach Marcus Freeman's Fighting Irish to 1-1 on the young season – and resulted in them falling out of the AP Top 25. Purdue, meanwhile, heads into the contest fresh from a bye week – and good vibes from its shut-out win over Indiana State, 49-0. Purdue QB Hudson Card passed for four touchdowns in that game, the Boilermakers' Aug. 31 season opener.
