Elliot Knight’s love for acting began at a very young age and he continues to pursue his passion on both the big and small screens. Recently, Elliot appeared in a major recurring arc as Merlin in the television series “Once Upon A Time,” opposite Jennifer Morrison. In addition, he recurred on “How To Get Away With Murder,” opposite Viola Davis. Before breaking onto the small screen in the United States, Knight was a guest star in “Law & Order: UK” and the six part BBC series “By Any Means,” opposite David Harewood, Gina McKeen, Shelly Conn and Warren Brown. His film credits include “Take Down,” opposite Phoebe Tonkin and Ed Westwick, and directed by Jim Gillespie. Elliot began winning awards for his talent at a young age, including the Three Musketeers Award for Drama Excellence by his school and the Acting Award by the Birmingham City Council. While attending drama school at Manchester Metropolitan University, he won the titular role in “Sinbad,” opposite Naveen Andrews. In 2011, Knight was lauded by Screen International as one of the “Stars of Tomorrow.” Currently, Knight divides his time between Los Angeles and Toronto. His birthday is July 10.
