The 2024 CBS fall lineup boasts new seasons from more than a dozen returning shows, including: NCIS, Survivor, FBI, FBI: International, FBI: Most Wanted, Ghosts, Elsbeth, S.W.A.T., Fire Country, Blue Bloods, The Neighborhood, Tracker, and The Equalizer.

Survivor is set to mark its season premiere – it's 47th! – on Wednesday, Sept. 18. The bulk of CBS' returning shows will launch their new seasons during CBS Premiere Week, scheduled to kick off on Sunday, Oct. 13. Up first during that all-important week? Tracker.

What are the new shows of the 2024 CBS fall lineup?

Along with all your returning favorites, the 2024 CBS fall lineup features five new series: a courtroom drama starring an Emmy®- and  Oscar®-winning star; two half-hour comedy shows; the latest entry in the NCIS universe (or NCISverse, if you will); and, a reality-competition series.

Here’s a little more about the new shows you can look forward to:

Matlock - Emmy® and Oscar® winner Kathy Bates stars as Madeline “Matty” Matlock, a brilliant septuagenarian who achieved success in her younger years and decides to rejoin the workforce at a prestigious law firm, where she uses her unassuming demeanor and wily tactics to win cases.

The Summit - Based on the hit Australian reality-competition series of the same name, The Summit follows 16 strangers on a trek through the New Zealand Alps in an attempt to reach the top of a distant mountain. With their backpacks holding an equal share of $1 million, the competitors must cooperate in tackling the dangerous terrain and weather, participate in heart-pounding challenges, and brave shocking eliminations in order to reach the peak in just 14 days – and win the cash they are carrying.

NCIS: Origins - This series follows a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Austin Stowell) in 1991 – years prior to the events of NCIS – and is narrated by Mark Harmon. In NCIS: Origins, Gibbs starts his career as a newly minted special agent at the fledgling NCIS Camp Pendleton office, where he forges his place on a gritty, ragtag team led by NCIS legend Mike Franks (Kyle Schmid).

Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage - This sequel series to Young Sheldon follows Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) of Young Sheldon as they raise their family in Texas, all the while trying to figure out how to navigate adulthood, parenthood, and marriage.

Poppa’s House - This comedy stars Damon Wayans as Poppa, a famous talk-radio host and perfectly contented divorcé. But when a female co-host (Essence Atkins) is hired at his station, Poppa finds his point of view continually challenged. This sort of thing is already happening plenty at home, where he’s still parenting his adult son (Damon Wayans Jr., Wayan's real-life son), a head-in-the-clouds type who tries to pursue his passions while juggling fatherhood and his responsibilities as a husband.
