New Shows on Paramount+ in November 2024

Landman (Nov. 17)
Co-created by Oscar® nominee Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, and based on the 11-part podcast Boomtown, Landman is a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs. The new original drama is set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, and presents a story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires – the people who have fueled a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics.

Landman stars Oscar® winner Billy Bob Thornton, plus Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie, Paulina Chávez, and Demi Moore. Jon Hamm stars in a recurring guest role, with Andy Garcia and Michael Peña also serving as guest stars.

Landman premieres on Sunday, Nov. 17, with two episodes. Subsequent episodes will drop weekly on Sundays, exclusively on Paramount+, through the season finale.

The Agency (Nov. 29)
This SHOWTIME® original series is a brand-new take on the French show Le Bureau des Legendes. It follows Martian (Oscar® nominee Michael Fassbender), a covert CIA agent ordered to abandon his undercover life and return to London Station. When the love he left behind reappears, romance reignites. His career, his real identity, and his mission are pitted against his heart, hurling both Martian and his lover into a deadly game of international intrigue and espionage.

Along with Fassbender, The Agency stars Oscar® winner Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, Alex Reznik, Andrew Brooke, Harriet Sansom Harris, India Fowler, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, and Richard Gere. Executive producers include Fassbender and Oscar® winner George Clooney.

The Agency premieres on Friday, Nov. 29, with two episodes. After, new episodes will drop weekly on Fridays through the season finale. Please note: The Agency may be streamed on Paramount+ with the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME® plan only.

New movies on Paramount+ in November 2024

Dear Santa (Nov. 25)
Deck the halls with this factoid: Dear Santa is the first original Christmas film from Paramount+. The movie is the story of a young boy (Robert Timothy Smith) who mails his Christmas wish list to Santa with one crucial spelling error, resulting in the arrival of a certain devilish fellow (Jack Black). This deviously charming comedy marks the return of Peter and Bobby Farrelly – that is, the Farrelly Brothers – the hilarious minds behind films like Kingpin. With their latest collaboration, which joins their decades-spanning repertoire of wild comedy films, Christmas is going up in flames.

In addition to Black and Smith, Dear Santa stars Keegan-Michael Key, Brianne Howey, Hayes MacArthur, global music superstar Post Malone, P.J. Byrne, Jaden Carson Baker, and Kai Cech.

Dear Santa is scheduled to premiere Monday, Nov, 25, on Paramount+.

Transformers One (Nov. 15)
Transformers One, a CG-animated origin story for the Transformers saga, starring the voices of Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm, opened in theaters in September. Reviews were enthusiastic, and, as of publication, it's a Certified Fresh hit on Rotten Tomatoes. And now, Transformers One is streaming on Paramount+.

The movie tells the story of a time when Optimus Prime and Megatron, known far and wide as sworn enemies, were friends – bonded like brothers – who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.

Fun fact: Transformers One is the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie.

Larger Than Life: Reign of the Boybands (Nov. 12)
This captivating documentary delves into the evolution of boy bands, one of pop culture’s most enduring musical movements. For more than half a century – from the groundbreaking influence of The Beatles to the global rise of K-pop – these bands have been a cultural touchstone, bridging generations with unexpected connections to the past and future. Larger Than Life: Reign of the Boybands weaves together the groups’ stories into a perfectly curated playlist, transitioning from one band to the next to reveal what it was truly like to be a band member – and a fan – during each group’s reign. Unveiling both the exhilaration of success and the realities of fame, the film uncovers the raw, unvarnished experiences that come with being in the spotlight.

Expressed by those artists who experienced it firsthand, the managers who orchestrated the bands’ rise, and other key music players, the stories in this movie act as an ode to those who were “tearin’ up our hearts.” From the aforementioned Fab Four, to the Jackson 5, through New Edition, *NSYNC, New Kids on the Block, The Backstreet Boys, and SEVENTEEN, the documentary offers an inside look at the era’s defining boy bands. Larger Than Life: Reign of the Boybands features performers AJ McLean, Chris Kirkpatrick, Donnie Wahlberg, Donny Osmond, Jeff Timmons, the Hanson brothers, Lance Bass, Michael Bivins, Nick Lachey, the members of SEVENTEEN (HOSHI & VERNON), and Tiffany, all reflecting on their impact and the trajectory of boy band popularity in the zeitgeist.

Native American Heritage Month on Paramount+

November is Native American Heritage Month. Celebrate the community's impact on entertainment with movies and shows featuring Native American talent. On Paramount+, you'll find 1883 and 1923, the Yellowstone origin stories, where Native American consultants help make the tales of early Western expansion into Montana as historically and culturally accurate as possible. Native American actors in these shows include Martin Sensmeier, who plays Sam on 1883, and Aminah Nieves, who plays Teonna Rainwater on 1923. Another Taylor Sheridan show made richer through Native American contributions is Lawmen: Bass Reeves, featuring Mo Brings Plenty and Forrest Goodluck as Minco Dodge and Billy Crow, respectively. Mo Brings Plenty also acts as a consultant on the anthology drama.

The contributions of Native American talent extend through the worlds of animation, comedy, and procedural drama. Enjoy Cree Summer as the voice of Susie Carmichael on Rugrats, laugh at the antics of Román Zaragoza as Sasappis on the hilarious CBS Original Ghosts, and gasp at Tonantzin Carmelo’s heroics as she embodies Tish Kwa'la in CBS' all-new NCIS: Origins. Want a history lesson? Stream Battle of Little Bighorn, the Smithsonian documentary about what General Custer's downfall meant for the fate of the Native Americans thereafter.

Binge-worthy favorites on Paramount+

Killing Eve
Described by BBC America as a thriller “filled with sharp humor, originality, and high stakes action,” this award-winning, cult-favorite series produced four seasons from 2018-2022 – and now all episodes are streaming on Paramount+. Killing Eve introduces us to Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh), a brilliant but bored MI5 security officer, and Villanelle (Jodie Comer), a razor-sharp assassin with a taste for luxury. These two women, equally obsessed with one another, go head to head in an epic game of cat and mouse.

Tulsa King
Oscar® nominee Sylvester Stallone stars in Tulsa King, the hit Paramount+ original series that has captured audiences with its central character, Dwight (Stallone), an ex-New York mafia capo who builds a criminal empire in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In Season 2, Dwight and his new crew continue to grow and defend their domain. Just as they get their bearings, however, they realize that they’re not the only ones who want to stake a claim. With looming threats from both the Kansas City mob, and a very powerful local businessman, Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe, keep track of all his affairs, and handle his unfinished business back in New York.

The Season 2 finale of Tulsa King is scheduled to drop Sunday, Nov. 17. Binge both high-stakes seasons of Tulsa King, exclusively on Paramount+. Oscar® nominee Taylor Sheridan is a series executive producer, along with Oscar® nominee and writer Terence Winter, and multi-award-nominated director Craig Zisk.

With pressure mounting from all sides, Joe is forced to confront the profound personal sacrifices she has made as the leader of the Lioness program.

Which generation will conquer the competition? This season of Ink Master is hosted by Joel Madden, lead vocalist for the pop/punk band Good Charlotte, as well as co-founder of music companies Veeps and MDDN. He assesses the contestants' work alongside three returning judges: three-time Ink Master champion DJ Tambe, plus Ryan Ashley, the first female tattoo artist to win the competition, and Nikko Hurtado, one of the world’s best color-realism artists.

Season 16 finds 16 new artists entering the shop to battle in the ultimate tattoo competition, where they will put their skills and experience to the test week after week in epic challenges. Only one will win $250,000 and the title of “Ink Master.”

All seasons of Ink Master are now streaming on Paramount+.

Star Trek: Lower Decks (Season 5)
In Season 5, the final season of this animated comedy series, the crew of the U.S.S. Cerritos is tasked with closing so-called space potholes: subspace rifts that cause chaos in the Alpha Quadrant. Pothole duty would be easy for Mariner, Boimler, Tendi, and Rutherford – that is, if the junior officers didn’t also have to deal with an Orion war, furious Klingons, diplomatic catastrophes, murder mysteries, and (scariest of all) their own career aspirations. This final season is a celebration of the underdog crew, a group that might be dangerously close to getting promoted out of the lower decks and into strange new Starfleet roles.

Star Trek: Lower Decks stars the voices of Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noël Wells, and Eugene Cordero, as Mariner, Boimler, Tendi, and Rutherford, respectively. The 10-episode final season will drop an episode every Thursday leading up to the series finale, scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 19. All episodes stream exclusively on Paramount+.
