In five, four, three, two... Everyone's favorite webcast sensation is returning to screens! Paramount+ has ordered a reboot of iCarly, the iconic pop culture staple that kept fans entertained for six seasons on Nickelodeon.
And just wait, it gets better! Original series stars Miranda Cosgrove (Carly Shay), Jerry Trainor (Spencer Shay), and Nathan Kress (Freddie Benson) are all attached to return for the new series. Oh chiz!
Jay Kogan (Nickelodeon’s School of Rock, The Simpsons, Frasier) and Ali Schouten (Diary of a Future President, Champions, Merry Happy Whatever) will develop the series, which will be produced by Nickelodeon Studios for Paramount+. The original series was created by Dan Schneider.
As if you need a refresher, but just in case: the original iCarly series followed a group of best friends who create a webcast while grappling with everyday problems and adventures.
iCarly will debut on Paramount+, ViacomCBS’ upcoming streaming platform.
