'Before I created CSI, I read about a severed head in a popcorn bucket case as a skinned gorilla mistaken for a human. I made both of these stories come true in the series. In this episode, Grissom finds a severed head in the trunk. The iconic line... 'Someone lost their head... and then someone lost their head...' I, later, auctioned the fake head at a Las Vegas auction.
